Secure Collaboration Terms

When you accept a proposal, the site asks whether you want to run the work through the platform or directly. The choice is yours and it is recorded on the order.

With collaboration through the site, the conversation, the milestones, the delivery, the approval and the rating are all recorded on the order and stay on the record. In direct mode none of that is recorded.

The payment is held by 3dwax and released to the designer after your full approval. This guarantee costs only 10 percent. If you then place a wax production order with us, that same 10 percent is credited back to you as a discount on the production order.

To start secure mode, arrange it through the contact numbers on this site. Payment is not processed inside the website.

Work runs through four default milestones: sketch and first concept, 3D modelling, final render and revisions, and preparing the production file. A designer can adjust the milestones to fit the job.

After delivery is announced you have fourteen days to approve or ask for a revision. If nothing is recorded in that time the order is treated as approved automatically. This window stands in for automated escrow so that a designer is not left without an answer.

Instead of rejecting the work you can request a revision; the order reopens, the designer is notified by SMS and the number of revisions is recorded.

After final approval you can leave a rating from one to five stars and a sentence of feedback. These ratings build the designer average and ranking. Work done in direct mode does not count towards a designer rating or level.
